Present Status of the Theories on High Tc Superconductors

Present status of the theories on high T c superconductors is reviewed with particular emphasis on the electronic structure. It is shown that the reconstruction of the electronic structure occurs near the charge transfer gap upon doping of carriers and a new state emerges in the gap. We propose that this state provides the stage of high T c superconductivity.
