The Effect of the Addition of S, Se and Te in Ba-Y-Cu-O on Its Superconductive Properties

Abstract

An addition of small amount of sulfur or selenium in Ba2YCu3O7-y gave raise in Tc(ZERO). The lattice constant of the c-axis in the selenium contained Ba2YCu2O7-y with highest Tc(zero) was 11.55 Å, which was shorter than those observed in pure Ba2YCu3O7-y system.
