Double-Inlet Left Ventricle

In double-inlet left ventricle the two atria are connected through their respective atrioventricular ostia to one ventricle, which shows the morphological characteristics of a left ventricle. The morphology of the atrioventricular connection may be that of two perforate valves (Fig. 8.1), a common valve, a straddling and overriding valve, or one imperforate and one perforate valve [24–28].
