Large Deflection Analysis of Elastoplastic Bending
Approximating the distribution of the moment on the deformed beam and. the stress-strain curve of the material of which the beam is constructed by the spline function of degree zero and degree one respectively, a numerical approach for solving the large deflections of an elastoplastic beam is presented. Some example problems for which other solutions are available in the literature have been solved.
