Preoperative Planning and Evaluation of the Vascular System in the Donor and Recipient

  • Satoshi Toh

Abstract

In microvascular free tissue transfers, preventing postoperative vascular complications such as thrombosis and venous congestion is the first priority to achieve a successful result. Next, the goal of each tissue transfer must be fulfilled, and finally the functional and cosmetic loss in the donor site should also be minimized.
