Preoperative Planning and Evaluation of the Vascular System in the Donor and Recipient
In microvascular free tissue transfers, preventing postoperative vascular complications such as thrombosis and venous congestion is the first priority to achieve a successful result. Next, the goal of each tissue transfer must be fulfilled, and finally the functional and cosmetic loss in the donor site should also be minimized.
