Abstract
This chapter is devoted to a new branch of modern geometry that is the result of interaction between hyperbolic topology, computer geometry, the theory of three-dimensional manifolds, and the new theory of topological classification of integrable Hamiltonian systems of differential equations. This activity was initiated with the work of S. V. Matveev and A. T. Fomenko.
