Analysis of Hall Resistance Anomalies with Wave Mechanics

Summary

Electrons injected into a semi-infinite plane from a narrow wave guide form two beams as a consequence of zigzag paths in the latter. With this property and the contour maps of electron wave functions, the Hall resistance anomalies are analyzed from the point of view of electron wave mechanics.
