Abstract
Macular degeneration is a major complication of degenerative myopia. Hallmarks of this degeneration are visible breaks in Bruch’s membrane (lacquer cracks), which usually herald a decrease in central vision. especially when associated with hemorrhages. Myopic macular degeneration is the seventh greatest causes of registered blindness in adults in Europe and in the United States, but instead has become the leading cause of blindness Taivan.
