Abstract

Because the per capita rate of bromidrosis is relatively low in Japan, those who are disposed to the condition tend to react with anxiety and seek permanent treatment for relief. The authors conducted a survey among patients who seek such treatment and uncovered a number of significant findings (Shimada et al. 1974, Inaba 1986).
