Abstract

Although spontaneous recovery from mivacurium is rapid, there has been little investigation of its pharmacologic antagonism. We have occasionally observed inadequate recovery following antagonism of mivacurium by edrophonium. Accordingly, we determined the dose-response relationship of edrophonium for antagonism of a constant mivacurium infusion.
