Abstract

Synergism exists between some (1–4), but not all (1,3), combinations of nondepolarizing muscle relaxants. The mechanism of possible synergism is unclear. We studied the effects of combinations of atracurium and vecuronium with mivacurium to examine if synergism depends greatly on structural difference between two drugs.
