The X-ray image signals stored and recorded on the IP and read for digital processing by laser light scanning need to be displayed in the form of a visible image to allow reading and diagnosis. The following displaying methods are available: (1) CRT monitor for direct reading; (2) exposure on a film from a CRT monitor by an optical system like a multiformat camera and display as a film image for reading; (3) direct recording on a film from image signals by a laser printer to produce a film image for reading.
