Electrochemical Introduction of Fluorinated Substituents into Organic Molecules

  • Conference paper

Abstract

Electrochemical transformations of organofluorine compounds lead to the generation of active fluoro-containing species (radicals, radical-anions, anions etc.), which are able to react with different substrates. This approach gives the possibility to introduce fluorinated substituents into organic molecules by electrochemical methods.
