Electroreductive Defluorination of Trifluoromethyl Imines

Abstract

Difluoromethylene — containing compounds are receiving considerable attention because of their potential biological activities. In this study, we propose a new approach to obtain N-silylated β,β-difluoroenamines as useful precursors of difluoromethylene — containing compounds by electroreductive defluorination of trifluoromethyl imines.
