Electroreductive Carbon-Halogen Bond Fission of Alkyl Halides. Michael-Type Addition of Radicals Generated by One-Electron Reduction

Abstract

Electroreduction of various alkyl halides in the presence of α,β-unsaturated carboxylate was carried out. Requirements for selective one-electron reduction of alkyl halides leading to radicals will be discussed.
