Natural Product Syntheses Using Phenolic Oxidation in the Key Step

  • Shosuke Yamamura

Abstract

Some bioactive isodityrosine and related oligopeptides have been successfully synthesized by means of anodic or TTN oxidation of o,o’-dihalogenated phenols. Furthermore, electrochemical synthesis of some sesqui- and diterpenes has also been carried out.
