A Convenient Electrochemical O-Glycosylation of Thioglycoside Using Catalytic Br

Abstract

O-Glycosylation of thioglycosides 1 with alcohols 35 was successfully performed by electrooxidation in the presence of catalytic amount of ammonium or metal bromide to afford O-glycosides 2.
