Electrolytic C-S Cleavages Giving Rise to Ketones and Carboxylic Acids

The electrooxidation of sulfides has been utilized to selective and mild reactions relevant to ketones and carboxylic acids through the reaction control of C-S bond cleavages based on the advantages of the electrochemical method.
