Imaging of the Painful Wrist

In this presentation we will cover a few topics relating to imaging approaches to the painful wrist which we believe are very important to surgeons in this field. Due to the lack of time and space; only a few major areas can be presented, including some newer, current concepts of computed tomography (CT) that have evolved in our own practice [1]. Next some major aspects of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the wrist will be presented which are quite pertinent to those interested in the wrist. Finally a few summary remarks about wrist arthrography will be made.
