Abstract

Alarplasty is a simple procedure that can provide a dramatic improvement. Reduction and resection are the most common procedures, but augmentation and grafting are another option in some cases. Reduction procedures can be performed on the outer side of the alar area, the inner side, the nostril base, and the alar rim. Each leads to a different outcome, and several approaches can be combined.
