Abstract
In the treatment of skin disease, topical drugs and cosmetic products are required. In particular, moisturizers that consist of occlusive, humectant, and emollient properties are frequently used in dermatological practice. In this review, the importance of the use of moisturizers in atopic dermatitis, senile xerosis, and acne vulgaris is discussed.
