Abstract

Semiconductor nanosheets have attracted attention in the field of ultrathin electric device and photocatalyst, where the band structure of nanosheet is important to control the performance. Recently, p- and n-type semiconductor nanosheets have been reported, and then the ultrathin pn-junction can be prepared using the nanosheet. In this section, the band structures such as valence band and conduction band positions for the several types of nanosheets and an example of nanosheet pn-junction are given below.
