Chapter

Abstract

This chapter develops determination methods of additional losses from eddy and circulating currents in modern stator winding constructions caused by influence of current first and higher time harmonics (Q ≥ 1). Given here are calculation methods of additional losses and rational selection of construction of bar and coil windings.
