Abstract
A well-demarcated and reddish protuberant lesion is located at the lesser curvature of the gastric antrum. This lesion appears nodular without lobulations. Its mucosal surface pattern is fine, dense, and full, without papillary or coarse gyrous pattern which are usually observed in hyperplastic polyps. Therefore, this lesion is strongly suspected to be an epithelial neoplasm. And more, its reddish color and tall height suggest cancer rather than tubular adenoma (Fig. 6.1a).
