Abstract

  • Direct plasma adsorption eliminates the targeted substances in the blood by passing the blood through the column directly.

  • The device is simple and does not require any dialysate or refilling fluid.

  • Carbon adsorption is used for drug intoxication, PMX-DHP is used for sepsis induced by gram-negative rods, and β2 microglobulin adsorption is used for dialysis-related amyloidosis.
