Abstract
The protein phosphatase dullard negatively regulates bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling by promoting the dephosphorylation or degradation of BMP receptors. We investigated the effects of endogenous dullard downregulation on BMP-induced neuritogenesis in a rat PC12 cell line to assess the basic role of dullard in mammalian neuronal differentiation.
