Refining Treatment Could Contribute to Restoring the Strength Properties of OCC Pulp

Abstract

The volume of recovered paper used globally is almost equal to the volume of new chemical pulp or four times that of mechanical pulp. Recycling has gained a very strong ground indeed. Nowadays, in some countries the paper industry cannot survive without recycled fibers.
