Summary

This paper describes track vibration measurements on slab track in a tunnel under normal traffic. The track frequency response functions had also been measured to validate the track dynamic parameters. Comparison of the dynamic characteristics, the track vibrations and wayside noise, of a slab track with traditional ballasted track were made using available data.
