Zusammenfassung
Die folgenden Ausführungen dienen dazu, den Hintergrund der Privatisierung des Strafvollzugs zu erhellen. Es wird sich zeigen, daß die Privatisierung eine Entwicklung mit historischen Wurzeln und zugleich Folge moderner Veränderungsprozesse ist.
