Zusammenfassung
Analog zum traditionellen Kapitalbegriff der Ökonomie entwickelten insbesondere Gary S. Becker (1982, 1993) und Jacob Mincer (1993) den Begriff des Humankapitals. Mit diesem Konzept wird die ökonomische Produktivität von Personen vor allem als Resultat von zuvor getätigten Investitionen in die eigene Qualifikation betrachtet.
