There are many different ways of looking at immigration into modern European societies such as a sociological way of assessing the level of education, the chances on the labour market, the social mobility, and so on. All this is helpful for developing a strategy. Last but not least history is particularly important for the integration of migrants and I would like to look at the three main points as I see them in the context of EUSTORY — the Network for Young Europeans.1
