The first four chapters motivated a concept of managerial support, constructed an approach that facilitates it and applied it in practise. This chapter will summarize this discussion in Section 5.1. Part of this summary will be to address the research questions introduced in Section 1.2. A critical evaluation of the conducted research will follow subsequently. Section 5.3 is concerned with identity construction in the light of the hermeneutic nature of this research. Finally, 5.4 elaborates on some implications of this work for management.
