Abstract

In 2005 the European Commission proposed eight key competences to achieve the goals of the Lisbon Strategy regarding the improvement of the knowledge base of the European Economy — theraby also setting main goals for the ‚lifelong learning‘ program of the EU. One of these eight key competences is Entrepreneurship. According to the respective commission paper entrepreneurship is “an individual’s ability to turn ideas into action”. How this ability can be taught in a reasonable didactical manner is, however, an open question, which shows up in practice and is thus very difficult to train and test in institutionalized educational settings detached from real life.
