Abstract

The previous chapter dealt with empirical observations on the impact of regulatory structures, business-regulator relationships and concrete regulatory intervention on strategic investment decisions in Germany and the UK. Producing an ambiguous picture to some extent, the empirical findings are analysed in the following sections.
