Results of Develop/ Build

Abstract

Results of this stage stem from three activities: kickoff, knowledge acquisition and formalization. Develop/ build is initiated by the ontology specification document established during kickoff (cf. 2.1). Knowledge acquisition gathers the information on idea assessment and selection during the early stages of the innovation process of the participating companies (cf. 2.2). Formalization, finally, transfers this domain knowledge into a structured ontology (cf. 2.3). The OntoGate is formalized in two steps: informal taxonomy and glossary (cf. 2.3.1) and formal ontology (cf. 2.3.2).
