Auszug
In den letzten Jahren hat die Dienstleistungsforschung in Deutschland aber auch international einen großen Aufschwung erlebt. Mehr und mehr Wissenschaftler beschäftigen sich mit den Problemen von Dienstleistungsmarketing und -management, neue Dienstleistungszeitschriften wurden gegründet und nicht zuletzt auch zusätzliche dienstleistungsbezogene Lehrstühle an Universitäten eingerichtet. Somit befindet sich die Dienstleistungsforschung zurzeit in einem Stadium des Wandels und insbesondere der Weiterentwicklung. Dies ist eine Situation, in der es nützlich sein kann, einen Schritt zurückzutreten, um aus einer anderen Perspektive das Geleistete betrachten und bewerten zu können.
