This chapter provides an overview of the current aerospace sector from an economic point of view, along with possible projections. An aerospace organization shows many different characteristics. These characteristics are selected, which form the basis for the development of follow-up studies within the present research series. The current chapter discusses products manufactured in this industry and the market environment, industry and organizational architecture that exist amidst economic trends.
