Zusammenfassung

Unternehmen sind heutzutage unter Dauerbeobachtung: Sie agieren in einem öffentlichpolitischen Raum und müssen sich in immer größerem Ausmaß den Bewertungen der verschiedensten gesellschaftlichen Gruppierungen stellen. Wer diese Tatsache ignoriert, der handelt sich Risiken ein. Im schlimmsten Fall drohen Verluste von Märkten oder Eintrittsbarrieren für neue Märkte. Weniger dramatisch, aber immer noch schlimm: Es kommt zu Auflagen oder Einschränkungen für die Produktion, für Beschaffung oder Absatz. Es kommt also für Unternehmen darauf an, solche Herausforderungen frühzeitig zu identifizieren, um geeignete Schritte für den vorsorglichen Schutz des Unternehmens einleiten zu können. Hierzu bietet das Issues Management wertvolle Unterstützung.
