Abstract
The research articles presented in this book have discussed business informatics issues within the component- and service-oriented mission statement for the development of application software systems (Turowski 2003, pp,9-15). The main topic was the arrangement of application software development from different perspectives. Aiming at an end-to-end consideration within the framework of strategic software reuse (long-term}, the articles covered different aspects of the specification (tactical) and the selection (operational) of components and services.
