Zusammenfassung
The Pharmaceutical industry is undergoing an unprecedented change. The new patent regime has led to new entrants of pharmaceutical multinationals to India. Leading Indian pharmaceutical companies are also emerging as global players by utilizing new opportunities in the USA, Europe and other emerging markets. In addition to India’s well established strengths as a cost effective drug manufacturer, India is also becoming an attractive destination for Research and Development (R&D) and clinical trials. With such significant changes in the competitive environment of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, the canvas of opportunities available to today's organizations for new market entry is new and large. In the middle of such environmental chances, success or failure of new market entry strategies is just no longer restricted to designing or communication of strategy. A successful market entry strategy now depends on the fit of its components.
