Über die Folgen der Alterung der Bevölkerung wird viel debattiert. Fakt ist: Bis zum Jahr 2050 wird die Bevölkerung in Deutschland nach Angaben des Statistischen Bundesamtes auf rund 70 Millionen sinken. Zudem wird schon 2030 voraussichtlich jeder dritte Bundesbürger 60 Jahre und älter sein, so das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung.
