This study of the coordination of service offshoring subsidiaries intended to differentiate types of service offshoring subsidiaries and to evaluate which coordination mechanisms are appropriate for each type. We have therefore used existing contributions from the field of subsidiary typologies and coordination mechanisms and combined them with the specific requirements of a service offshoring subsidiary to develop a new typology.
