Zusammenfassung
In der fertigungsspezifischen Literatur ist in jüngerer Vergangenheit der Ruf laut geworden, einen Wandel im Produktionsmanagement weg von einer zu stark auf technische und technologische Aspekte fokussierten hin zu einer mehr auf den Faktor Mensch zentrierten Fertigungsphilosophie zu vollziehen. Ein wesentliches Erfolgskriterium ist dabei die Einbindung der operativen Basis, sprich der Fertigungsmitarbeiter in die zentralen operativen Entscheidungen im Fertigungsbereich. Idealerweise sollten Entscheidungen getroffen werden, die sowohl im Sinne des Managements als auch der operativen Basis sind. Maßgeblich für Entscheidungen jedweder Art ist die Wahrnehmung des Status quo im eigenen Fertigungsbereich. Divergiert diese Wahrnehmung über Hierarchieebenen hinweg, hat also das Management ein anderes Bild des Fertigungsbereichs als die dort tätigen Fertigungsmitarbeiter, so ist dies zum einen ein Indiz für einen fehlenden innerbetrieblichen Konsens und zum zweiten ein Warnsignal, dass zukünftige Entscheidungen in die falsche Richtung gehen könnten.
