Zusammenfassung
Eine der größten Herausforderungen für die IT-Verantwortlichen ist es, die bereits riesige und stetig wachsende Menge unterschiedlichster Daten, die in den einzelnen Unternehmensbereichen anfallen und vorgehalten werden müssen, effektiv im Rahmen von Backups zu sichern und vor Verlust und Zugriff unbefugter Dritter schützen. Zudem ist für verteilte Unternehmen die Möglichkeit, jederzeit von jedem Ort aus auf Anwendungen und Daten zugreifen zu können, mittlerweile von entscheidender Bedeutung.
