Kooperationen werden als Hilfsstrategien verstanden. Damit versuchen (Automobil)Unternehmen im Wettbewerbskampf um Marktanteile sowohl große Investitionen in Fahrzeuge bzw. Teile als auch in Ländermärkte zu unterstützen. So können sie die Handlungen der Wettbewerber weiter einschränken, als das alleine mit einem Preispremium- Management und einem Mehrmarktmanagement (Kapitel 5 und 6) möglich ist.
