Zusammenfassung
In den letzten Jahren haben das Brand-Behavior-Konzept und die damit einhergehende markenorientierte Mitarbeiterführung eine wachsende Beachtung in der betriebswirtschaftlichen Forschung erfahren. Es wurde zunehmend erkannt, dass die eigenen Mitarbeiter eine wichtige Anspruchsgruppe für die Markenkommunikation eines Unternehmens darstellen, die es zu überzeugen und für die Marke zu begeistern gilt (vgl. u. a. Henkel et al. 2007; Bruhn 2005; Kernstock/Brexendorf 2006; Burmann/Zeplin 2005; Joachimsthaler 2002). Mitarbeiter sind demzufolge als eine wichtige und eigenständig zu bearbeitende Zielgruppe für die Markenkommunikation eines Unternehmens zu betrachten (vgl. Wentzel et al. 2008).
