Im Anschluss an die Darstellung der Entwicklung und Validierung des Ratingsystems wird in diesem Kapitel die Anwendung dieses Systems als Grundlage eines neuartigen Geschäftsmodells in der Inkassobranche vorgestellt. Ziel dieses Kapitels ist es nicht, eine wissenschaftliche bzw. ökonomische Rechtfertigung für dieses Geschäftsmodell zu liefern, sondern vielmehr den praktischen Einsatz des Ratingsystems zu demonstrieren.
