Zusammenfassung
Schon immer gab es in der Psychologie die Vorstellung, menschliches Erleben und Verhalten sei nicht nur bewusst intendiert bzw. kognitiv gesteuert, sondern werde auch durch nicht-bewusste, implizite Prozesse beeinflusst (vgl. Mierke 2004). Entscheidungen erfolgen häufig unbewusst intuitiv, nicht durch Nachdenken. Das ist dem Entscheider zwar bewusst, beschreiben oder gar erklären kann er den Prozess jedoch nicht. Auch die Entscheidung der Konsumenten bei der Produkt- und Markenwahl wird von impliziten psychologischen Prozessen, die man als Intuition bezeichnen könnte, beeinflusst.
