Abstract

Complex logisties services cannot and should not be performed without being backed by a coherent logistics strategy to ensure that, operationally, a company is not only doing things right, but that it is doing the right things. How successful the operational processes of a logistics system are is therefore inextricably linked to implementing the right strategy for the company' s logistics system.
