Zusammenfassung
Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre findet unter der Bezeichnung „Policy Deployment“ (PD) ein Management-System zunehmende Verbreitung, das auf einem Konzept der systematischen Findung, Abstimmung und Verfolgung von Unternehmenszielen basiert. Es hat seinen Ursprung in Japan (vgl. Akao 1991) und ist eng mit der Philosophie des Total Quality Management (TQM) verbunden. Das bedeutet u.a. die konsequente Einbeziehung der Betroffenen in den Planungsprozess, die Fokussierung auf eigenverantwortliche Teams und die Realisierung nach dem PDCA-Zyklus (Plan–Do–Check–Act).
